Jeep Rental in Aruba: Off-Road Adventure Awaits

Unlock Aruba's wild side. Our Jeeps are built for the island's rugged interior, volcanic rock trails, and the iconic route to the Natural Pool (Conchi). From $117 per day.

Aruba's postcard-perfect beaches are just one side of the island. Venture inland and you'll find a dramatic, untamed landscape of volcanic rock formations, cactus-dotted deserts, and ancient coral pools that reward those willing to leave the tarmac behind. There is no better vehicle for this adventure than a Jeep, and Hermanos Car Rental has the island's best selection of Jeep rentals ready for you.

The crown jewel of any Aruba off-road adventure is the Natural Pool, locally known as Conchi. This breathtaking natural rock formation sits on Aruba's rugged northeastern coast, accessible only via a challenging off-road track through Arikok National Park. The trail to Conchi winds through boulders, dry riverbeds, and loose gravel, terrain that demands a proper 4x4. Our Jeep Wrangler, with its legendary four-wheel drive, high ground clearance, and short wheelbase, handles the Conchi trail confidently where other vehicles simply cannot go.

Arikok National Park itself covers nearly 20% of Aruba's total land area and is one of the Caribbean's most remarkable protected ecosystems. Inside the park you'll find ancient Arawak cave paintings at the Fontein and Quadirikiri Caves, native wildlife including burrowing owls, iguanas, and the rare Aruba whiptail lizard, and sweeping vistas over the island's dramatic north coast. Exploring the park properly takes several hours and a capable vehicle, a Jeep is the ideal companion.

Beyond the national park, a Jeep opens up Aruba's entire northeastern coastline for exploration. The rugged coastline from Andicuri Bay to Boca Prins, where crashing Atlantic waves meet towering sand dunes, is accessible via rough tracks that only a 4x4 can navigate comfortably. The Jeep Cherokee in our fleet adds a more spacious four-door body, making it ideal for groups or families who want off-road capability without sacrificing rear-seat comfort.

Every Jeep in our fleet comes with air conditioning, Bluetooth audio, and full insurance. We'll give you a detailed briefing on the best off-road routes before you set off, including tips on the Conchi trail, the best viewpoints in Arikok, and where to find Aruba's hidden beaches that never appear in the tour brochures.

Jeep Rental Aruba: Frequently Asked Questions

Can I drive a rental Jeep to the Natural Pool (Conchi) in Aruba?

Yes. The Natural Pool at Conchi is accessible via an off-road track inside Arikok National Park. The Jeep Wrangler in our fleet is fully approved and capable of completing this trail. We recommend going with a full tank and bringing plenty of water, the track is challenging and there are no services along the way.

Do I need a special license to rent a Jeep in Aruba?

No special license is required. A valid driver's license from your home country (held for at least 2 years) is all you need to rent any vehicle in our fleet, including our Jeeps.

What is the difference between the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Cherokee rental?

The Wrangler is a 2-door off-road icon with superior four-wheel drive capability, it's the go-to choice for extreme off-road tracks like the Conchi trail. The Cherokee is a 4-door vehicle with a more comfortable rear seat and larger boot, making it great for families or groups who want off-road capability with everyday practicality.

Is Arikok National Park worth visiting by Jeep?

Absolutely. Arikok National Park is one of Aruba's most rewarding destinations. By Jeep you can access the full network of dirt tracks inside the park, reach the coastline at Boca Prins, visit the cave paintings at Fontein and Quadirikiri Caves, and get to the Natural Pool, none of which is comfortable in a regular car.

Is insurance included with the Jeep rental?

Yes. All our Jeep rentals include mandatory third-party liability insurance in the daily rate. An optional collision damage waiver (CDW) provides additional protection for off-road use and is strongly recommended for the Conchi trail.

Can I book a Jeep for just one day to do the off-road trails?

Yes, single-day Jeep rentals are available and popular for a dedicated off-road day. However, many guests choose to keep the Jeep for their entire stay once they realize how much more of the island they can explore.
