Every Hermanos rental already includes the things that matter most: full insurance, unlimited kilometres, free airport pickup and free hotel delivery, with no hidden fees. The extras below are genuinely optional. You add only what makes your particular trip easier, whether that is a booster seat for a toddler, a second driver for a road trip round the island, or a snorkelling set for a lazy day at Baby Beach.
Prices are honest and per the timescale shown. Some extras are charged per day, others as a flat fee for the whole rental, which we make clear for each item. Everything is arranged at pickup, so there is nothing to pay online. Just let us know what you would like when you book and it will be fitted, cleaned and waiting.

Each Extra Explained
Child / booster seat
$8 / dayA properly fitted child or booster seat that meets safety standards. Tell us the age and weight of your child and we bring the right size, cleaned and ready to click in.
Who needs it: Families with babies, toddlers and young children.
Additional driver
$10 / dayAdd a second named driver to the rental agreement so you can swap behind the wheel on longer days. Both drivers stay fully covered by the insurance. Bring the extra licence at pickup.
Who needs it: Couples and groups who want to share the driving.
GPS navigation
$5 / dayA plug-in satellite navigation unit preloaded with Aruba maps. Handy if you want to avoid roaming charges or you are heading somewhere with patchy phone signal, like the north coast.
Who needs it: Visitors who would rather not use mobile data.
Snorkelling set
$12 / rentalA mask, snorkel and fins so you can jump straight in at Aruba's calm snorkelling spots without hunting for a rental shack. Priced per rental, not per day, so it is great value for a week.
Who needs it: Beach lovers heading to Baby Beach or Mangel Halto.
Roof rack
$15 / rentalA secure roof rack for boards, extra luggage or dive kit. Ideal if you are travelling with equipment that will not fit comfortably inside the car. Fitted and checked by us at handover.
Who needs it: Surfers, divers and anyone with bulky gear.
Super CDW (zero excess)
$12 / dayReduces your insurance excess to zero, so you are not liable for the deductible if the car is damaged. The most popular add-on for first-time visitors, families, and anyone exploring beyond the main roads.
Who needs it: Anyone who wants total peace of mind.

When and where do I pay for the extras?
Every extra is added at pickup, when we hand over the car. There is no online payment. Just tell us in advance which add-ons you want so we can have them ready, and settle the total in person along with your rental. What we quote is what you pay, with no hidden fees.
Do I need to book extras in advance?
We strongly recommend it, especially for child seats and snorkelling sets, which are popular and limited in number. A quick WhatsApp message when you book your car means we can guarantee the item is reserved, cleaned and fitted for your arrival.
Is the Super CDW upgrade worth it?
For most visitors, yes. At $12 per day it removes your excess entirely, so a scratch, a kerbed wheel or a car-park bump does not cost you the deductible. Weigh that against a single tyre replacement or a windscreen repair and the maths usually favours the upgrade. See our insurance guide for the full picture.
Are child seats compulsory in Aruba?
Aruba follows sensible child-safety practice, and a correctly fitted seat is by far the safest option for young children on the island roads. We supply seats suitable for babies through to booster age. Tell us your child's age and weight and we will bring the right one.
Can I add an extra after I have already picked up the car?
In most cases yes, subject to availability. Message us and we will do our best to get the item to you, often at the same time as we would deliver or collect a car. Adding it at the start of the rental is always the surest way to secure it.
Do the extras change my insurance or mileage terms?
No. Unlimited kilometres and the standard insurance are always included in your rate regardless of which extras you choose. Add-ons like the additional driver simply extend your existing cover to a second person, and Super CDW upgrades the excess on the same policy.
